Norway Hall
A Little Bit of Norway in Santa Rosa
Located at 617 West Ninth Street, Norway Hall was built by the founding members of
Freya Lodge, Sons of Norway. The facility features a full commercial kitchen and the hall
seats up to 120 for dining. Our lodge has recently purchased an LCD projector and updated the audio / visual system in the main hall to complement an
already placed large viewing screen for entertainment and cultural programs at lodge events. We have also added DSL internet service along with a
wireless network within the building to allow for live on line meetings and presentations as well as research for our members through the facilities of the
lodge library.
Our lodge is in a forward growth cycle as it updates, revitalizes and moves into the
21st century, and we are embracing technology to reach out to our members and to the
community.
"On the road between the homes of friends, grass does not grow."
Traditions preserved
On the beams over the dining room is hand painted traditional
Rosemaling, a folk art of Norway. It was painted by Terje Geir Lindahl Erikssen, F.R.S.A.
Gotta make a living...
The lodge hall is available to rent for day use by calling 707-579-1080. Our spacious hall
can accommodate up to 240 seated persons for community, social or business events.
