Saturday, May 18, 2013: Freya Lodge will host a smørgasbord lunch and hot dogs for the kids in celebration of Norwegian Constitution Day, better known as Syttende Mai,The cost for the luncheon is $5.00 for members, $8 for non- members and children under 12 are free. Along with the luncheon, there will games for children and a traditional Norwegian children’s day parade of flags.

Saturday, June 22, 2013: Freya Lodge will host it's annual Midsummer celebration. Look for a flyer and more details here soon.

Saturday, October 19, 2013: Freya Lodge hosts it's 26th Vikingfest at Norway Hall from 10 AM to 3 PM. Come shop for imported food and goods from Scandinavia, enjoy living history presentations from the Vikings of Bjornstad, our traditional bake sale and our famous Taste of Norway lunch. A genealogy booth, with trained and experienced genealogists ready to assist you will be available. Admission, as always, is free. Come join us for this fun filled day with proceeds benefitting our youth and scholarship programs. For more information please see our Vikingfest flyer here.

Tuesday afternoons @ 1:30 PM: Freya Lodge hosts Norwegian Language lessons. For more information, contact Anne-Marie.

Other Events Around Sonoma County

Tuesday evenings: Scandinavian Dance Class, 7:15 to 9:15pm at Hermann Sons Hall in Petaluma. Anyone interested in Scandinavian dancing is encouraged to come, beginners especially. No partner needed. Saturday, August 17, 2013: Mark you calendar... the second annual Bay Area Lodges Picnic will be held at Henrik Ibsen Park in Woodside, CA. Facility, meats and BBQs provided with the gracious hospitality of Henrik Ibsen Lodge 6-007. Salads, appetizers and desserts are pot luck. The social hall bar will be open an there will be sports events for young and old and the pool is open on a daily fee basis. Look for more details and a flyer here soon.
